Privacy

Last updated: February 15, 2026

Yukthi is designed to respect user privacy by default.

Data minimization

Yukthi does not require accounts and does not collect names, emails, or profile data.

There is no persistent user identity. Feedback is tied only to random interaction and session IDs.

Ephemeral processing

Reflection text is processed to generate a response. By default, reflections are not stored as user profiles or linked to personal identity.

Recent responses and feedback may be stored in secure Vercel-hosted storage and also cached locally in your browser to improve quality and show recent musings.

Feedback logs

If you tap thumbs up/down, Yukthi stores:

  • your structured reflection input
  • the generated response
  • feedback label and optional reason tag
  • timestamp and random IDs

Basic redaction is applied to reduce accidental personal data in stored text.

Logs are stored without account identity and are used for response-quality improvement.

Cookies and tracking

Yukthi does not use advertising trackers or third-party profiling tools.

A local browser storage key is used only to rotate an anonymous feedback session ID.

Third-party services

Yukthi may rely on infrastructure providers to operate the service. These providers process requests transiently and are not permitted to retain or use data for any other purpose.

Children’s privacy

Yukthi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this privacy approach changes in the future, this policy will be updated clearly and transparently before any new data practices take effect.
